Any person who watched the pain & torment Obama faced during the many mass killings while he was in office should understand why he would 'have their backs'.

The Sandy Hook slaughter was almost too painful to bear.
The killings in church. Gabby Gifford survived another. The theatre slaughter. On & on....
and Obama wanted gun safety changes & was unable to get anything passed. Probably one of his biggest disappointments.

Today marks Trump's 400th day in office, it feels more like 4 years. and his tweets are sooooo offensive, to read Obama's was a breath of fresh air!

It was good until the "we've got your backs" thing.

It means nothing.

In fact it is generally unhelpful and unwise to have taken sides like this as it makes things partisan, whereas previously it was apolitical.

Now Republicans have a hate figure to focus on. They will rally around that, whereas before the teens were making headway. Who can argue with them?
