Do you remember when Billy Carter's book became a hit in the '70s? "THE WIT AND WISDOM OF BILLY CARTER." I assume it to be a very thin book. It was, after all, written by a man who made headlines for peeing on airport walls. Do you really think he would have gotten press coverage or a book deal if it weren't for his relationship to the President?
So there you have it. People related to Presidents can and do cash in on their relationships. It's been going on for a long time. These days, it probably happens frequently. You'd best get used to it.
