Not by a long shot, ZZ.
I would hazard a guess, if the government were to try
to order the military to do as you suggest, about a
quarter of the troops would desert. At least another
half would obey the 'Posse Comitatus Act' and refuse
the orders.

We have a lot of deer hunters who can reliably hit a
target several hundred meters out.

Not to mention the biggest problem the military
would face. Among the civilian populace . . . how many
could be classed as 'insurrectionists' and how many
are just 'normal civilians'?

As long as the Second Amendment remains in force and
'We The People' insist upon our Rights, we still
have a chance.

But, if you had your way and 'We' had our guns removed
'We The People' would be ripe for abuse - by the thugs
who live amongst U.S. as well as governmental over-reach.

Zim.

I do.

Muskets and powder.

If the government ever took over, no chickenhawk would ever have a chance. Three days and they'd all be DEAD.

We’re way past that age.

Give that 2nd Amendment bullshit a REST.
