I see it in terms of conservative drift.

Once the right gave up on checking facts, they became unmoored from reality.

The same fools who told us hyperinflation was going to follow the 2008 catastrophe are now influencing decision-making. That isn't encouraging.

Now any kind of rubbish will do. The more fantastic the story, the more arcane the conspiracy, the more the right will believe it.

The end is either chaos or a new republican theory. At the moment, they are all totally lost. This is Putin's America.

I may dislike a bunch of the victimhood approach on the left, but at least much of what is going on on the left is recognisably rational.

But frankly, the whole American political conversation is intellectually pathetic these days. It's just sad. End of the west stuff.

I dunno what happened to csl. I used to just disagree with his libertarianism. But his conspiracy stuff is like doma's.

This is what is so scary.
Too many in the republican party are behaving like csl.

I wish they would step back, and ask themselves if Hillary was acting like trump, what would they think?

I would think she must have plenty to hide to be willing to take such extreme actions...

and Trump is doing this in plain sight, his fingerprints are all over this.

ps, I gave you a 'star', don't usually star, but you hit the bullshit eye ;))
