Wow. That's amazing - especially since I'm in Virginia which usually follows the same weather patterns as NYC, albeit a day earlier and I haven't noticed that. The weather has been totally normal here, so far. You live only 50 miles from NYC, so let's see if you're right about 2017 being a record year. Well, look at that! As usual, you are completely WRONG! The high on December 1, 2017 was 52℉. You think it's never been that warm before. But it was warmer than that on December 1st LAST year. And way warmer in 2014! In fact, three of the previous seven years had higher highs than NYC experienced this year. Three had lower. One exactly tied. That makes this a pretty ordinary year, doesn't it?
The truth is, clo, that the average December 1 high in New York City over the past seven years was 55℉ - a full three degrees warmer than the high this year. You aren't experiencing unusually warm weather at all, but slightly COLD weather! Why are you lying to us?
