Yesterday, November 30th, we had to turn the heat on for the first time this season. In our 30 years in this house, this is about as late as we've ever gone, but I have to caveat that since we did replace all of our windows with dual-pane insulated glass six years ago. Note that last year our first day with the heat on was November 19th. It's been running overnight in the high 40's and low 50's for better than a week now, but yesterday it was just too cool in the house when we got up. The days have been nice, sunny with temps in the low- to mid-70's.
