They are evidence indeed.
As it is evidence to everyone.
That which proceeds from your lips shows what really is in your heart. In other words, one's heart condition.
The Lord made this very clear in parables in his own words. I am confident that this is not new information for some of you.
However, the words of GOD in the Flesh, should indeed give us illumination and insight into many different things.
This is why I have such a low tolerance for lots of things that are said. And many times I need to go ask forgiveness for some words I thought, some I actually wrote, and some I said.
Thankfully I have a Savior who forgives me and cleanses me from all unrighteousness if I confess my sons unto HIM, and HIM alone.
Y'all's friend here has no comprehension or apprehension of Spiritual things because that heart is unregenerated. Therefore it is at enmity with GOD. It is impossible for anyone who is in that same condition to understand things that are given by GOD (Spiritually given, light bulb going off)when they have never been born of the Spirit.
SO your friend is never going to grasp Biblical scripture, even in context, because spiritual things can only be apprehended and understood, given light by the Spirit which dwells within every believer, by one who who is given light by the AUTHOR of those written and recorded and preserved words for OUR benefit.....
This is not to denounce your friend.
This is simply to point out that it is not possible that anyone, not just him, will respond similarly who are at enmity with God.
IN short, a waste of time......
