No, I am not a computer professional. My son in law is.
I have just learned an awful lot from him and some before him.

Remember that I made a living by tearing things apart to see what made them work and then improving them as an engineer. Designing, materials spec, manufacturing engineering, all kinds of things. Computers always interested me and what made them work and how to speed them up, repair them without having to go another or pull your hair out..

So I build my own systems with available off the shelf parts and not proprietary. Mine are always expandable in several ways. What I don;t know I can just ask my son in law.

He almost has his doctorate in computer technology...
