Moore has held political office for decades in Alabama - a Democrat until he switched to the Republican Party in 1992 - so there have been an unending number of opportunities for these charges to come out. Yes, there are times when women do not say anything and just live with it, but there are also times when women are paid money and/or given 15-minutes of fame to "recall" things that did not happen the way they are now saying.
In this country, every citizen is presumed innocent until proven guilty. Therefore, Roy Moore is innocent until he either admits guilt or he is proven to be guilty in a court of law.
The people of Alabama will be the ultimate jury to determine which side of the story they believe. The Senate does not have the Constitutional authority to "can him" for any alleged behavior that supposedly occurred before he becomes a U.S. Senator - they can only censure or expel him for wrongful acts committed while he is a sitting U.S. Senator.
