So do you think the Alabama voters should decide and let the cards fall where they may?

Sometimes men behave badly. Sometimes women behave badly. Sometimes neither behave badly but one or the other becomes vindictive toward the other and can make allegations for all sorts of reasons.

I have no idea how to fix this ridiculous situation other than let the people decide. Moore may be completely innocent, he may have been a complete creep. None of us know for sure.

Other than me, I don't know of any perfect men,... at least I don't recall any imperfect behavior.

Well, one time when I was around 13 some buddies and I found a Playboy, but we only read the articles. At least that is how I remember it.

This whole thing is going the way I expected.

At the beginning it was the extreme cases, involving multiple rape allegations and serial manipulation.

Now it's a person claiming there was an awkward attempt at a kiss. That's it? That's what a career depends on?

People should wait for a pattern to emerge. If it does, then there's something to discuss.

With Moore, one has done. To me, it says he's creepy rather than criminal. Alabama chose its age of consent, which makes a kind of 16-18 pedophilia legal; and it sounds like he made a mistake once 40 years ago with one girl younger than 16. He also seems possibly to have lied about knowing somebody, but he might have also just forgotten. If the party wants to dump him, why not. That's their judgement to make.

But it's getting mighty puritan. We might start wanting lawyers in the bedroom to check whether all the right documents are signed before anyone gets in bed.
