It is good the Senator was afforded the opportunity of defending himself. If he is found guilty he should resign. Christie, not a favorite of mine, would then appoint his replacement.

Judge Moore is being tried and convicted based on flimsy evidence, his accusers are not cross examined. It is entirely unfair. If a proper investigation results in credible evidence of improper behavior and he is afforded the opportunity to defend himself and he is found guilty, he should also resign.

The people of Alabama should have the right to make their own choice on his existing record and the record of his opponent. This is a hatchet job pure and simply, timed to impact the election. It is analogous to the dui revelation just prior to the Bush Gore election.

Yes!

that said, I heard the juror who left on Thursday because she had a vacation planned & the judge said if the case wasn't finished by then she could go.
She said he & his friend were NOT guilty on all counts & found the prosecution was inept.
She thinks there will be a hung jury, because she said there are more that felt the same.

By the way, the fact that Moore thinks he's above the law, in 2 cases, refusing to follow the court ruling, should make him unable to run. IMO.

Do you think a lawyer of three years, who hasn't tried a case, is qualified for a lifetime position as judge?
