Rasmussen:Voters Share Obama’s, Bush’s Concerns About Today’s Political Climate
Tuesday, October 24, 2017

Former Presidents Obama and George W. Bush on the same day last week bemoaned the current state of politics in America in remarks many interpreted as aimed at President Trump. Voters strongly agree with what they had to say.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 63% of Likely U.S. Voters agree with Obama’s statement: “If you have to win a campaign by dividing people, you’re not going to be able to govern. You won’t be able to unite them later if that’s how you start.” Twenty-two percent (22%) disagree with Trump’s Democratic predecessor, and 15% are undecided.
