I know. It would be great. But I've already got a home builder, and you know how too-many-cooks-in-the-kitchen can be. He probably won't always want MY help with it since he usually works alone, but I'm not giving him any choice. I've told him from the start that I want to participate. It might not save me much money, but I know I'll learn a LOT from the experience.

The work up there isn't going to end with the barn and the house. It will be unending and I'll probably never do a tenth what what I'd like to do.

If you are ever interested in moving to New Hampshire, let me know. I'm going to want to find people to collaborate with, both on their property on mine. Everyone benefits from that. Home prices are great for what you're getting, and I would recommend the state to anyone who likes cool weather, clean air, small government and the color green.

Any conservative, that is. We don't need any more liberal crybabies moving to the state. They can go to . . . VERMONT.
