I thought this was about a few guys protesting the treatment of black people.

Didn't bother me so much. A bit Muhammed Ali, who was much despised at the time for his 'unpatriotic' stance, but subsequently lauded.

Sometimes black people are mistreated. So if someone finds a way to make the point, so be it.

On the other hand, the knee-jerk assumption that people who do something wrong to a black person must be animated by race prejudice is something I generally oppose. I treat each case individually.

Insofar as most people are caste as racist, I think we all are. Embedded tribal characteristic, which sports teams also depend upon.

Defining a class of millions of people as victims is something I am reluctant to support. I don't think that was the MLK message either.

I was a fan but stopped watching last year. Trump's words on the issue echoed the thoughts of many people. Those not on the left are tired of being continually trampled by the groupthink on the left.
