I had to sell some mutual funds today in order to fund my project up North. Doing so made me feel a little ill:
What? The purpose of money isn't to get more money?
LOL. That would be my emotions talking. My brain then kicks in and assures me that accumulating money for money's sake when I KNOW it's going to end badly is illogical and pretty stupid. In the long run, the barn is worth more than the mutual funds. At least I'm selling them at a time when the markets are probably peaking.
Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months |
