It's about the people who voted for him. Why did they do so?
Taken as a whole, people express themselves seriously even when they don't know quite how to articulate their message.
I think there's meaning in the immigration and trade issues. I think there's meaning in the contempt for Liberal victimhood.
Trump picked up on it, but Bannon articulates it better.
It's the same stuff we have talked about. Inequality. Lack of income growth in the lower quintiles. People in news papers reporting on issues of rights that contradict traditional morality.
Cities want different things from rural areas. The speed of change is different.
Trump isn't the people. But he's channelling their scream. Trouble is, he has no idea what policies they want from him. Other than get rid of annoying stuff.
