Apparently, this John Pavlovitz heads up the teen ministry for the so-called North Raleigh Community Church. Based on the "What We Believe" section of its website, it might be far more appropriate to rename this church to the North Raleigh Community Social Club. Snippets from the NRCC website on what they supposedly believe:
"We share a hunger for spiritual growth, wholeness, and wisdom, but we don't impose on one another what that should look like.
We don't organize around agreed upon doctrines. We organize around a way of relating. We do our best to accept, respect, and encourage one another on our spiritual journeys, recognizing that each one is different. Consequently, at NRCC, people hold a broad spectrum of beliefs about life, religion, and spirituality. Some of us are even trying to figure if we believe anything at all.
For us, a community of people all along the spectrum of belief is good.
It's honest. It's authentic. It's real."
Well, it certainly ain't Christian. Actually, it ain't anything at all ... it's simply "y'all come ... believe whatever you want to believe 'cuz it's all good ... and let's revel in our communal non-belief." In fact, this "What We Believe" statement doesn't even mention Jesus Christ once - not once! They like to throw around the word "Christian" a lot, but they studiously avoid mentioning the very name of THE Person who is the undeniable, absolute CORE of Christianity. Sorry, folks ... if you're accepting of all beliefs, you believe in nothing. This is not a "Christian Church" ... it is an "anything goes," "I'm Okay - You're Okay" social club. It's an unabashed center for the religious worship of leftist ideology. John Pavlovitz is nothing but a debased bootlicker of the wanna-be Empress Hitlery.
