I really wish you would comment when you post drivel like this, clo, because I'd like to know whether you truly believe what you're posting or just don't give a rat's ass that a 2nd grader can see through it. If your scant-few functioning brain cells don't light up like Vegas at night when they see rubbish and scream "Hey, that CAN'T be right!" then you're probably not competent to live alone anymore. (Your son and your on-again, off-again boarder don't really count since neither actually cares what happens to you. Don't believe me? ASK THEM.)
Ocean levels rise and fall all the time by way of both WAVES and TIDES. But for "higher sea levels" to threaten villages, there'd have to be an increase in the average height of the water. So, what do you think - that melting ice has inundated the ocean off of the Alaska coast AND JUST STAYED THERE like some sort of gigantic liquid mountain??
Ridiculous.
If the amount of water in the ocean goes up, it quickly distributes itself around the world and ALL coastal villages are impacted.
Which isn't happening.
As I've pointed out to you before, there are places where the ground is actively sinking. Communities in those places are indeed being threatened by oceanic waters. But not because the waters are rising. That's bogus. Stupid. Fake.
Intelligent people usually see through fake stories. The less intelligent ones, distribute.
