Yes. That's National Review. The National Review magazine, conservative gospel. I guess you can ignore the perspective of liberals easily enough, but these are your own people. Time to wake up?
It's fair enough to be sceptical of the opinion polls, but personally, I think they are telling the tale just about right of where the country as a whole is, just as they did the election majority. But there were more Trump voters in the swing states than anyone expected and I haven't yet seen a good explanation for it, other than the Comey damage.
Anecdotes aside, I think the polls show support for this president is falling apart. At best, he squeaked in as a minority incumbent. His performance has been so poor that folks on the margin are running away as fast as they can. The only thing holding his numbers as high as they are is that he hasn't yet destroyed Obama's economy. That just needs a bit more time.
