Steve Scalise Discharged From Hospital
Rep. Steve Scalise was discharged from the hospital Wednesday and will now begin inpatient rehabilitation. A statement from MedStar Washington Hospital Center confirmed the Texas Republican has continued to make progress after he was critically wounded during a shooting at a congressional baseball practice in June. “He is in good spirits and is looking forward to his return to work once he completes rehabilitation,” the statement said.
