I wish it stopped there. clo says:
"We need MORE women in power!"
- and doesn't understand why the thought is so repugnant.
Suppose I said that we need more MEN in power? Oh, she'd rail against such a sexist remark. (But there's no sexism in calling for more women?) What if I said we need more HETEROSEXUALS in power? She'd call me a homophobe! How about, we need more EUROPEANS? More whites? More blonde-haired, blue eyed citizens? I'd be branded a racist, and rightfully so.
I don't say those things.
Supporting people because of WHAT they are instead of WHO they are is anti-individualistic, anti-American and EVIL. I may come down hard on Muslims, homosexuals, criminals, losers, floozies, liberals, but these are all things people CHOOSE to be, not engravings in stone over which people have no say.
clo is the opposite. She labels and brands people by their genes, their heritage, their color. She's a despicable, vile human being who really has nothing in common with what Americans are meant to be: A sovereign people, with equal rights in the eyes of the government and with ample (but not equal... nothing can make people equal) opportunity to succeed.
