Trump has crossed the line in many cases. He's an awful human being.

But I didn't see this one the way you do.

I see what you believe he was implying. But I don't think he necessarily was. I think he was just reaching for a compliment to break the ice.

If he knew he was allowed to say she looked lovely, he probably would have. But other folks would have jumped on him for that too.

It's an eggshell world out there these days. People require that you conform and take offense over nothing.

Hi Cactus Flower,

Trump is crude.
He has a history of misogyny.

The first lady of France wasn't a victim, nor did she behave as one. Trump's behavior stands on its own.
If he had said, you look lovely, that would be different (for me)
what I heard, you're in great shape- for your age,
he showed restraint for not adding (for your age) ;))

I heard a political reporter from France agree with my position. Maybe because she & I are women we see this differently.

I agree with your take on the attempt to reduce Medicaid for millions in need, that is repulsive!
