He ran opposing 'wars', so we didn't expect him to be a 'warrior'. He did draw down troops.
After the agreement GWB signed wrt Iraq, he couldn't keep troops fighting there, without putting them at risk to trials by Iraqi courts.
He's a thoughtful & educated & curious man. I appreciate him more with every day Trump is in the Oval.
He ran a strong domestic policy from which Trump is benefitting. The steady growth and reducing unemployment follow the same pattern as they have done, although unemployment rates will bottom out soon.
I think he was a poor warrior, though, which leaves Trump with room to claim a triumph or two.
