Yesterday Evening I was sittin here at my desk (WARTFROG Battle Console) when suddenly an anti-frog-craft round exploded nearby. Mz ribit says it was lightning, but what does she know. In any case, all the lights flickered and the internet and cable tv in my office went out. I managed to recover from the internet crash, but the cable box is fried. Ya don't even get a 'power' light on it.
I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in to no avail. Searched all over it for a reset button, there ain't one. It just sits there all dark and dismal staring at me. Told ya that so's I could splain that I am limping back to home base on one engine. (No Talking Heads News). Somebody should cover for me.
Mz ribit says I can't borrow her cable box as she has to watch Home Shopping Club. I shall be at the Comcast office early am with burned out cable box under arm. A one winged frog is practically helpless.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
