Zim,

I hope you're right. But I don't see what you've described as taking us very far. On the plus side, the govt is hardened for EMP and other countries would, presumably be sending us needed supplies to get the infrastructure back. But not the grid. There's a bill in Congress to do this, but its gone nowhere.

The Sun missed us with a coronal mass ejection by only a few weeks a couple of years ago.
