Also, I'm not so sure obozo was the one trying to kill

times that it was the Air Force trying to deep six it.
So they could 'save' enough money to buy nifty high
tech aircraft . . .

Problem for the Air Force was every time they turned
around the Grunts (Army and Marines) was calling for
an A-10 for some close air support.

I'd love to see U.S. design a similar machine with
the additional durability and some extra goodies like
a tail hook so Marine pilots can fly them off aircraft
carriers.
