Too hot! Unfortunately, it would get you too. An EMP attack is high altitude and blankets a large area. It doesn't destroy people or buildings, but fries electronics if they have not been hardened to prevent it. If the Sun makes a direct hit on us, it does the same thing. In the 1800's a CME hit that fried telegraph lines. Who would have thought.... p. s., this is why people are trying to push Congress to harden the core of the electric grid. Big transformers take years to build.
