There are amendments.

There's a process for making them.

Obviously I think a Constitution has to live or it becomes dead wood. On the other hand, if it is changing all the time, it might as well be plain law.

The smaller the slice of a constitution which is permanent, the better. It establishes the nation, the rule of law and the form of government. Most of everything else is likely better being subject to change.

That's a big problem for us.
We are divided on the Constitution being written in stone, or being a document which needs to grow as a healthy tree, towards the sun.
