British police shut down London Bridge after a van mounted the sidewalk and mowed down pedestrians

Police shut London Bridge Sunday evening after a white van mounted the sidewalk and mowed down pedestrians, according to a BBC reporter who was on the bridge at the time.
The police said that they were dealing with a major incident on the bridge but that it was too early to suggest a motive.
