The proposed Trump budget basically removes any funding for anything that would seem to support any sort of "energy" policy including zeroing-out funding for such things as the "EnergyStar" appliance rating system, funds for helping poor people insulate their homes and replace broken windows, R&D spending for energy efficiency programs, etc. If it sounds like something that will help the average American save energy, Trump wants to completely kill it. And money that'll be saved will cover less than the cost of couple of fighter planes or the tax cuts for some real estate CEO's.
