Thanks, micro.

I'm already feeling pain in places I didn't know existed. I had a blister the size of my thumbnail sticking sideways off of a toe. My fingers are swollen and the right hand won't close beyond a "C". I was badly chafed on the first day in my underarm and crotch - so every step hurt. My back is killing me. And, yes, every muscle and joint aches. Friday night, we worked until 4 a.m. Easter Sunday, we worked until 5:30 a.m. Monday. We got less than three hours sleep after each of those nights, making the 550 mile drive that much longer.

Here's what 591 boxes, plus a freezer, furniture, a 6 foot birdcage, twelve shelf units, a 27 foot expansion ladder, a lawnmower (dismantled and boxed), two bicycles, a unicycle, a clay "Kamado pot" (the world's best BBQ), long-handled garden tools and other things too numerous to mention look like when crammed floor to ceiling into a 26 foot U-haul. My wife and I now consider ourselves to be experts at the game of Tetris.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

That was some week-end! Feel for you.

Although the good thing is you are still relatively young and not my, DGP's, Ribit's, or even Nemo's age.

You will discover when you get into your sixties muscles you did not know even existed when exerted. YOu meet new friends like Arthur Itis who makes uninvited housecalls.

Nevertheless, you and your family have not only done the physically demanding and punishing task of carrying, lugging, loading, and unloading, re-carrying, lugging, loading, all those possessions, on top of enduring a round trip drive in a 26 foot truck and all over a long week-end.

WOW!!!

I guess you are pretty well beat, battered, exhausted, sore, and very tired.

You have my permission to take a day and recuperate.

On the other hand, I commend you on the monumental efforts. You had a HUGE week last week what with decision on sending your son to COLLEGE and packing up all your belongings to head to Vermont, where you will enjoy winter in a whole new way.....

Selling is always good. Especially if you can actually get people not looking for nice things for almost free. That is what I discovered here at dad's estate sale here. I refused to accept low ball offers and would rather GIVE some things to charities rather than have someone almost steal from my father.

Good luck and best wishes for your endeavor De!

You have begun your new journey in this realm called life. Congrats on a difficult job accomplished....

Very Happy
