I guess these are 1980s dollars.

We're sorry but the numbers on that chart are VERY incorrect. Ronald Reagan's budget deficits ran well over three trillion dollars while George W. Bush's deficits amounted to over six trillion dollars. Also, our computer blocked the Heritage.org website from showing content with security systems errors.
