Guys,

Hollywood is down. I got the new motherboard installed, new CPU installed, new fan installed, new hard drive installed and I think I got all the case connections installed.

Tried firing her up and she starts up. Insert the installation disk for Windows, she starts through everything, but right after it tells me Windows is starting up, a blue screen comes up that says "A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to protect your system" Says is that's the first time you've seen that screen, to try a restart. Restart results in the same situation.

It gives some numbers at the bottom of that screen, but I have no idea what they mean or where to find what they mean?

Stop: 0x0000007B (0xf78D2524, 0x00000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

Any suggestions out there? :-(

I did not install the video card yet, past experience has told me to take this one step at a time and try it. Then another step and try it - so I've just installed enough to get her running and try her.

I tried it both with the new Windows XP disk that I got as well as with the old one that was loaded on her before this tear down. They both get to the same point and give me the same message

Sun :-)
