Totally agree.
I believe in helping people who have experienced bad situations through loss of income and employment and genuinely need some help with basics until they can get going again.
I actually try to help in a personal way with that. I bought an employee of mine $250.00 worth of shirts for Christmas. We wrapped them up in boxes with ribbin and bows and put them in his vehicle when he was working.
DO not open till Christmas is on the boxes.
I hope he thoroughly enjoys his new wardrobe we bought for him. He is struggling and yet tries so hard to do right. Just trying to help him oput because he doesn;t have a lot of extra disposable income.
I also usually buy Missionaries that come to our church a new suit and shirts and ties so they can keep their offerings and gifts from the people to feed their families and put fuel in the gas tank.
It is a wonderful feeling helping out people who need help and not letting them know it was you.
Monetary policy indeed IS absurd and has been for awhile.
These are very tough and difficult times we live in.
I truly do feel the pain of those who through no fault of their own lost their jobs and income.
But, never the less, the over the top spending and allowances are a whole other matter that you are pointing to and does indeed need to be reviewed and re-done, but it will not happen with this administration. But then, you know that......
Ah, we could go on a long time but it will not change a thing.
Good to see you and read you again!
Captain,
if I don't get back before Monday, I wish you a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year.
As you know, surgery is Monday morning early.
God bless,
