...had a dog named Wuz (as in wuzzy) one of the best ever. Poodle he was. Ya could throw anything he could get in his mouth and he would fetch it and bring it back to ya and then pace impatiently til ya threw it again. He never got tired and fetchin never got old. His favorite fetch thing was a rubber pork chop. I got him a dog toy "Indestructible Alligator" once and he chewed it all to pieces in about 15 minutes. Dog ate apples. Ya had to peel em and cut them up for him. If ya accidentally left a piece of peeling on the apple he would bring it back to ya and spit it in ya lap. Didn't really spit, but ya got the peeling back. Dog thought the best place in the house to sit was in the middle of my back when I lay on the sofa face down. If I started toward the sofa he would be halfway up my back way before I was anywhere near horizontal. Dog would not let anyone get close to me or threaten his position on "the best seat in the house"

Wuz died as dogs will do. I buried him in the back yard and decided that I would put a tree on the grave so I would think about old wuz whenever I saw the tree. It was an Apple Tree and it has the sweetest apples ever.

Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!

I will present this to him after Milo passes. He is a great lil schnauzer. He is blind in both eyes and deaf, just like sugar and I cant believe how fast it happened. In a matter of 3 months he is almost gone. We have a nice spot on the high river bank over looking the river for Milo. We planted a nice cherry tree by his spot..............I thanks Ribs so much for sharing this with me and wiggles. It helped so much...... God bless lil dogs..............

The Rainbows Bridge Poem
RainbowBridge.comJust this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
