Treatment for Degenerative Disc Disease
Most of the time, Degenerative Disc Disease can be successfully treated with conservative treatment consisting of medications to control inflammation and pain with physical therapy and exercise. If the patients have not achieved relief in over six months of conservative treatment and Degenerative Disc Disease is significantly affecting the patient’s ability in performing everyday activities, only then surgery is considered.

I was wondering the same. the therapy is something the insurance companies are doing anymore. They want to try cheap fixes before spending money on an MRI.....I agree with you 100%. I need a cushion rebuilt between the 2 disc for sure...... I am going in again tomorrow for more blood work and will talk more with the doc about my back. The pills just mask the problem, but it continues,,,,,

I had x rays from 3 years ago and they clearly show the problem. I cant be picky with insurance I cant afford nothing. I will do the best I can with what I have!!
