Re: "Army Col. Kathryn A. Spletstoser described being sexually assaulted in her hotel room at a defense forum by Air Force Gen. John Hyten."
- clo

The article says it would have been difficult for the General to get into Spletstoser's room without security guards noticing. They reported nothing.

The article says Spletstoser claims the general ejaculated on her sweats. If she kept those sweats, she'd have some evidence. Did she? It's not mentioned, so it appears not.

In this country, there's supposed to be a presumption of innocence. The woman COULD have kept some evidence of an assault but did not. That turns this into a "He Said / She Said" case, which is entirely her fault. It therefore should NOT be believed. After the Blasey-Ford joke in which B-F slandered an innocent man and earned about a million bucks for doing so, it's doubly true that accusers shouldn't be believed by default. Spletstoser may well have the same motive as Blasey-Ford.

Women have to learn: You can't just accuse someone and expect people to believe you if you've got nothing to back it up. That's long-standing legal precedent not to mention common decency. And if you, clo, believe this colonel based on nothing more than what's in this article, then you're just stupid. Whatever the crime, people should believe the accused until evidence conclusively shows otherwise.

An accusation is not evidence.
