Support for impeachment grows among Democrats, according to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll

Forty-eight percent of Democrats now say they support beginning impeachment proceedings against president Trump, a jump from 30 percent who said the same one month ago in the NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll. Overall, the public remains split on the question, with 27 percent of all Americans supporting it, including just 6 percent of Republicans.
