For me, Bernie isn't nearly as bad as Trump.
He's a socialist dinosaur. I don't think that's a useful set of ideas. But he wouldn't get much done. To the extent he would get anything done it would be to move things towards the centre, which is where they need to go - away from the far right where they are now.
I don't think he would sell out the US to dictators. I don't think he would lie 8,000 lies. I don't think we would need to investigate his finances. I wouldn't worry about the rule of law in the US.
A door stop, a piece of coal or a goat would be better than Trump. Mussolini would be about the same.
I used Bernie as my example of a bad candidate, who even as bad as he is, he's better than this guy. If I talked to 100 people in a park on any given day, all 100 would be better than Trump.
