Sad thing is, the US gave the green light to torture under George Bush. These things aren't forgotten. By other regimes. And the US no longer has moral standing in these sorts of matters.

This is a Republican Party inheritance.

I am a little confused by the recordings. Not sure what is real there. The story is evolving all the time.

But he went in and he didn't come out and he isn't inside. So they seem to have killed him and disposed of the body. That's enough horror for me.

I can't believe the US president is part of the cover-up. But he is. Saudi investments in Trump are motivating his response, obviously.
