Which is better? Socialism or Capitalism?

Depends. On what your situation is and where
Socialism is . . .

If one is a half wit in need of serious governmental
assistance socialism promises everything. If one is
very rich and politically well connected socialism
is very good - almost unlimited opportunities for
theft. (Until socialism reaches its end game and
the wheels come off - see Venezuala.)

But if one is a working class stiff . . . not so much.

I think it was Carl Marx who coined "To each according
to their needs, from each according to their abilities."

Me being who and what I am . . 'they' would decide all
I needed was a crappy little apartment . . . Rather
than my nice little half acre kingdom.

So, the socialists 'collectivize' all the assets and
dole them out 'according to need' . . . Creating Yuge
pots of money for them to steal from at will.

Yes, Capitalism has its problems. Capitalists would
dearly love to 'wage slave' their employees.

Remember, People are what people are.

Which is easier to legislate the excesses out of?

Socialism? Where the rulers create these pots of money
to steal from . . . (I know the thieves are NOT going
to curb their ability to steal.)

Or Capitalism. Where the government does not have
these huge piles of money to plunder . . . But it does
have some responsibility to see that people do not
have their moneys stolen.

Comments?
