Ribs

The compact S&W 9 weighs only 21 oz. That is pretty light.

My standard sized 9 weighs 27 oz. Not too bad. The almost zero recoil in this is what is so impressive and helps it be so accurate. Of course, I have fired a few rounds with it as well.

Don't know about the Beretta.

...9mm has no more stopping power than a regular old .38. It is sufficient to do the job though. Just remember to 'double tap'.

...there is no reason for a 9mm to be as big, and heavy as the beretta 92.
